Ungrateful? Despite unparalleled generosity and utter loyalty to globalist line on Ukraine, social media users say “Zelensky still insults Ireland”

Despite Ireland opening its doors to as many as 200,000 Ukrainian refugees, despite the Irish government abandoning are historic and constitutionally mandated neutral stance and demanding even more stringent sanctions against Russia over its military operation in Ukraine, the Ukrainian President still saw fit to insult Ireland at during an address to European Council summit.

Zelensky took a thinly veiled jab at Ireland during his address on Friday scolding the country for not throwing away its tradition of military neutrality in its actions against Russia and taking an even more aggressive posture against the nuclear armed power.

The President who recently banned 11 opposition parties, including one with nearly 10% of the seats in the Ukrainian parliament and also outlawed freedom of speech and freedom of the press called on the EU to do more to “defend democracy” in Ukraine.

A grovelling Micheál Martin sought to make excuses for the ungrateful and ill-informed comments from comedian turned politician.

The Taoiseach did not defend his own country and instead tried to equivocate, claiming the Ukrainian leader was talking in terms of the “European perspective”.
