Ireland’s loss to France was hard to take but as ever the fans didn’t show it and carried on to party on their way back from Lyon, and like always they managed to bring a ray of sunshine into those around them.
However the Irish faithful never expected their wildly antics would bring a miracle of sorts whilst on their travels. Yes! The followers of the boys in green managed to amaze the world once again after their singing managed to bring a Frenchman whose wheelchair bound to his feet and join in on the fun.
The amazing and heartwarming moment has gotten many talking after footage emerged on YouTube on the jonasnation channel showing the Irish bellowing out their rendition of the classic ‘Stand up for the boys in green’ chant on a train carriage before the delighted man joined in on the fun.
