The last cry of summer: Temperatures set to soar to 25C during the coming weekend

Summer 2019 is coming to an end in Irish shores, but the season may just go with a bang.

The thermometer is set to rise to highs of about 25C over the coming weekend, with Saturday expected to be the best day.

Today, Friday, will be a rather pleasant day overall, with a lot of dry weather around and temperatures of around 20-24C.

Saturday is forecast to be a summery day, with long sunny periods, warm temperatures, and little or no rain. The thermometer will hit 25C at times.

Sunday’s weather will remain pleasant, though temperatures will dip slightly.

Early forecast for next week is for pleasant weather to continue on Monday, but rain is likely to return on Tuesday.
