A mother in Belfast has appealed to thieves who broke into her home to return her late baby’s ashes that they stole from the house.
Police in the North have launched an investigation after a grieving mother had the ashes of her baby girl stolen on Tuesday night.
Claire Smallwood was the victim of burglary on Tuesday night which saw the ruthless thugs take the ashes of her baby daughter Holly.
Police say the disgraceful robbery occurred on Ballygomartin Road in Belfast, between the hours of 6:30pm and 9:30pm on Tuesday evening.
Meanwhile in a heartfelt Facebook post Claire said she and her family didn’t care what the thieves have done but all they want is their little Holly back and have urged those responsible to hand the ashes back in to police.
