Belfast woman Margaretlee Hilton, 33, is in the terminal stages of pancreatic cancer. She is currently undergoing chemotherapy, and is also on a morphine driver.
But yesterday, this brave young woman fulfilled her wish of giving birth before departing life.
Born by emergency Caesarean section, Zoe Grace came into the world. Born at 25 weeks, her mother only got to spend a short time with the miracle baby, before the newborn was taken to the neonatal care unit.
Margaretlee and her family have thanked the medical team for delivering Zoe safely, and have specifically mentioned obstetrician Niamh McCabe at Royal Victoria Hospital for her skill and dedication.
