A new eight-part series that is said to be the new Love/Hate starts tonight with the first episode promising to be as gripping as its processor Love/Hate was.
According to the Mirror, the synopsis states: “The Kinsellas are a small but tight-knit crime family in Dublin, increasingly at odds with a powerful drug cartel. When the hotheaded son of Frank Kinsella gets into a violent confrontation….the drug cartel retaliate.
The show premiered in the US a couple of days ago, and is already being compared to have a very strong link to that of the massively successful Love/Hate.
The plot follows the activities of a family of Dublin gangsters who go to war with a rival gang, but who will win in the end? Tune in to RTE 1 at 9:30pm tonight to find out if the show really is any good.
