The charity group Focus Ireland has the number of people seeking advice and information this year because they are homeless or at serious risk of losing their home has risen drastically.
The charity has said there’s been a serious rise of over 43% in the number of people coming to them for help and advice. They also said that 3,588 people have contacted them so far this year, compared to 2,500 people this time last year.
Focus Ireland have said that this significant rise is a reflection of the stark reality that more and more people are now at risk of losing their family home.
