The number of homes for sale around Ireland is startling low – Monaghan has the few homes to buy or rent




According to a recent survey, there are 5.9 rental or shared residences in Ireland for every 10,000 residents, reports Breaking News.

Monaghan has the fewest rental houses in Ireland, with just 16 available units per 10,000 residents, according to a Savills Ireland survey.

With 18 dwellings, Roscommon has the second lowest ratio (2.5), after Tipperary (3.5) and Donegal (3.3).

With 5.6 rental or shared houses per 10,000 residents, Mayo is the most similar to the national average; nonetheless, with just 79 properties accessible throughout the whole county of 140,000 residents, this is still a dismal fact, reports Breaking News.

There are 2,290 more rental or shared properties in Dublin than there are in the entire nation.

With 81 properties and a ratio of 12.2, Monaghan has the fewest number of property purchases per 10,000 residents.

Meath comes in second with 13.4 per 10,000 residents, followed by Kildare in third place with 14.3, reports Breaking News.

Louth is in fifth place with 18 per 10,000, followed by Carlow with 17.7.

With 2,912 properties available, Dublin comes in eighth place with a score of 19.5.

With 42.9 properties for sale per 10,000 residents, Leitrim has the most, followed by Roscommon and Mayo, reports Breaking News.
