The UK has reported the death of 631 more people from Covid-19-related causes since Saturday evening.
This is the second highest single-day increase in the number of deaths in the UK since the crisis began.
The total death toll there now stands at 4,934.
The midlands is now catching up with the London outbreak and sadly a number of medical workers have contracted coronavirus in a number of hospitals.
Experts are predicting that the government may impose even further restrictions where people won’t even be allowed out of their homes for short exercise but Matt Hancock says they’re not at the stage at this moment but will review their measures in the coming days.
