Crowds cheers and applauded the hilarious comedian Brendan Grace as his coffin was brought through the streets to St Nicholas of Myra Church in Dublin’s Francis Street.
Chief Celebrant Fr Brain D’Arcy had the congregation in tears and laughter as he said that with the size of crowd in the church, Brendan would want to know what the cover charge was to get into the church.
Musical tributes from Red Hurley and Paddy Cole played throughout the service with members of entertainment, politics and business crammed into the church.
Brendan was laid to rest after the service. RIP
