A Federal judge in Washington has rejected an offer by firefighters, state police and other emergency personnel to stop Washington’s COVID-19 vaccine warrant for state employees and medical service employees.
A brave group of frontline workers are trying to sue Governor Jay Inslee, Spokane Fire Chief Brian Schaeffer, Washington State Patrol Chief John Batiste and others over the mandate advocates. The workers claim that the vaccination violates their civil rights in order to continue their work.
The plaintiffs had filed for an injunction, but KXLY reports that U.S. District Court Judge Thomas Rice has denied the petition and at this stage, the mandate for compulsory vaccination stands.
