“They’re all the same” – Support for both Sinn Fein and Fine Gael has dropped, latest poll finds




Both Sinn Féin and Fine Gael have lost support, according to a new poll.

The Ipsos poll for The Irish Times also shows growth for both Fianna Fáil and the Social Democrats, reports RTE.

According to the poll, Sinn Féin remains the most popular party but has lost four points to 31%.

Fianna Fáil came second with 21%, an increase of three points Fine Gael dropped four points to 18%.

Social Democrats 5%, a jump of three points. Greens and Labor are unchanged at 4%, reports RTE.

Solidarity-People’s profit rose one point to 2%.

Aontú also rose one point to 1%. Independents remain unchanged at 14%.

The in-person survey of 1,200 adults was conducted June 11-13, reports RTE.

Margin of error is approximately +/- 2.8%. The last Ipsos Irish Times poll was conducted in February.
