Have you ever felt the urge to take part in an office chair race? Then Kerry is the place for you! The newest Christmas tradition has taken Tralee by storm. Grown men and women took to the streets and raced office chairs, and all for a good cause.
Tralee Chamber Alliance organised its second ever ‘Office Chair Race’ over the weekend. The town of Tralee closed off their main shopping street on Saturday to let adults push themselves around in chairs with their feet to raise funds for a chosen charity.
All chairs must have wheels, competitors must ensure bottoms remain firmly on seats and legs are only to be used to propel themselves forward towards the finish line. The competition had six heats and featured 18 local business people and elected representatives. Check out the video above of some of the fun.
