A protest demonstration has been organised to call on the Government to address the current homeless later this month.
It is understood the protest will take place in Dublin on Saturday, March 9th.
The demonstration which will call for homes to be built on public land, will get underway at 2pm that afternoon.
It is expected thousands will descend on the capital to voice their opinions and call for change.
Organisers of the event the National Homeless and Housing Coalition, say there will be three meeting locations for demonstrators to gather including the Housing Agency on Mount Street, the GPO on O’Connell Street and City Hall on Dame Street.
