Thousands expected to greet Pope Francis in Dublin city centre as he drives through in his Popemobile




Ireland is talking about Papa Francisco! The 81-yr-old Pontiff is getting ready gear up for the first Irish Papal visit in 39 years! The leader of the 1 billion-strong Roman Catholic Church, Pope Francis is arriving in Dublin at 10am on tomorrow morning.

Up to 100,000 people are expected to line the streets this weekend to see Pope Francis, the leader of the 1-billion-strong Roman Catholic Church drive down through the city centre in his Popemobile.

The likable Pontiff will be greeted with cheers and Papal flags as he travels from the Pro Cathedral to the Capuchins centre for the homeless.

He’ll leave the Pro Cathedral at 4:15pm on Saturday and drive down through O’Connell St, up past College Green onto Dame St and then down through Christ Church.

It’s looking like they’re be up to 1 million people strong out to see Pope Francis when he comes here from Saturday morning at 10am.
