Thousands of people have taken to the streets of Dublin this afternoon to protest against the current homeless crisis.
In the latest demonstration by the Raise the Roof campaign, thousands of people from across the country marched through the capital calling on the Government to address the current homeless crisis.
It is understood that in the region of 10,000 people marched from Parnell Square down to the quays and back to the GPO on Dublin’s O’Connell Street.
Those taking part say the Government hasn’t done enough to address the issue and have called for more affordable housing to be provided.
