Well over 12,000 people in Israel have tested positive for Covid-19 despite having been administered the vaccine designed to inoculate them against the Chinese virus.
On Wednesday, the Israeli Health Ministry announced that so far 12,400 people in Israel have tested positive for coronavirus after being vaccinated with the Pfizer/BioNTech jab, including 69 who had received their second dose.
Israeli authorities had tested 189,000 people for Covid-19 after being vaccinated, as of earlier this week with 6.6% returning a positive result, according to ministry data reported by Haaretz.
Not only did one in 20 people vaccinated test positive for the novel strain of coronavirus after having received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine but shockingly, of the smaller number of people who have received the second dose, 69 people have tested positive.
In a similar situation in the UK, the very first elderly care home to have its residents dosed with the Pfizer vaccine on December 14th witnessed a serious outbreak of the virus earlier this month.
