Three Irish people to remain in quarantine in British hospital for up to two more weeks

In preemptive measures, three Irish people will remain in quarantine in a British hospital for a further two weeks after they were evacuated from the city of Wuhan in China.

Experts are deliberating about what threat the virus still holds but it’s believe that up to 10,000 people may have been infected by it over the past number of weeks.

The Irish trio flew into the UK on a plane carrying 110 passengers. It landed at the Royal Airforce Base in Brize Norton at 1pm on Friday afternoon.

The Irish passengers and 83 British passengers were taken to a hospital near Liverpool where they’ll be kept quarantined for at least two weeks as a precautionary measure to prevent any chance of coronavirus virus.
