
Three people including a baby have been killed afrer a light aircraft crashed in the Swiss Alps.
It is understood a pilot and two passengers were killed when the small tourist plane crashed near the Simplon pass at approximately 9am on Sunday morning.
Although authorities have yet to identify those onboard the plane, they say the aircraft took of from an aerodrome in the western canton of Vaud and was travelling to Italy.
However tragically the crash occurred approximately a hour and a half into the flight killing everyone onboard.
Authorities say an investigation is currently ongoing.
