Three people have been killed and eleven others have been injured following a shooting incident in Philadelphia.
The incident happened in the South St. area of the city, on Saturday night. South St. is lined with bars and other entertainment venues, and was heavily transited at the time of the shooting.
It is understood that several gunmen were involved. A police officer did engage the shooters, but they managed to flee.
