Three people who were on board a rescue boat have been confirmed dead, after the vessel capsized in heavy seas off the French coast.
The boat was part of a search mission for a fishing trawler that went missing in severe weather during Storm Miguel.
It is understood that four other people on board the rescue boat survived. The fishing trawler is yet to be found.
Storm Miguel is currently blowing across the UK, causing winds of up to 120km/h.
