Tributes have poured in for 27-yr-old Fiona Geraghty from Balbriggan, Co. Dublin after it was confirmed that tragically she was among 17 fatalities resulting from a bus crash in Dubai on Thursday.
The bus, believed to be operated by an Omani firm, is understood to have been carrying 31 people when it crashed into an overhead road sign located on the Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road.
Authorities say that the bus should never have entered the particular lane where the crash occurred.
Social media users have said that the teacher was a lovely, caring and funny woman who loved her job and was very well liked in her community.
