Three people were arrested following scuffles at free speech and rival demonstration in Dublin

Three people were arrested following rival demonstrations by free speech activists and what are described as anti-racism groups in Dublin on Saturday.

Gardai were forced to hold back some of the protesters who were separated at the gates of Leinster House.

Hundreds of people took part in separate rallies outside the Dail.

The largest protest was against new proposed hate speech laws and had been organised by a number of groups including the Irish Freedom Party and Yellow Vest Ireland.
