Three young girls have been found dead inside a property in Vienna, and their mother has been arrested following an unsuccessful suicide attempt.
It is understood that the woman, believed to be a 31-year-old Nepalese citizen, contacted the police to say that she had killed her children and now she was going to kill herself.
When police arrived, they found the bodies of three girls aged nine, three, and eight months, and an adult woman with apparent self-inflicted injuries.
Early reports say that the children died from suffocation.
The mother is now in police custody.
