Thrill-seekers on rollercoaster in Japan are left dangling 15m in the air when the ride comes to a sudden stop

Passengers on a rollercoaster in Japan had an unexpected shock when the ride suddenly stopped sharply, leaving them stranded in the air 15 metres from the ground.

According to Sky News, the “Flying Dinosaur” ride was going up a slope when a technical fault triggered a sensor, bringing everything to an emergency stop.

There were around 30 passengers on the ride at the time and Universal Studios said they would be carrying out an investigation to find out what error on the ride had caused the emergency stop.

This is not the first time there have been problems with the ride, which travels at around 62 miles per hour.  It broke down in May 2018 when 64 passengers were left dangling at 30m from the ground.
