A suspended sentence was imposed on a man who assaulted his pregnant girlfriend at home and then took her phone, reports Breaking News.
At the Dublin Circuit Criminal Court, Daragh Houlihan, 33, of Chapel Lane, Newbridge, County Kildare, entered a guilty plea to robbing Rathmines Road on May 4, 2021.
He has never been convicted before.
Houlihan’s actions that day were described by Judge Orla Crowe as “utterly reprehensible” on Friday, with the woman’s pregnancy making matters worse, reports Breaking News.
