A Cork man found guilty of raping and sexually assaulting his then-partner and her son has been sentenced to 12 years in prison.
According to RTE, the 56-yr-old man, whose name cannot be identified to protect his victims’ anonymity, was found guilty by a jury on 61 counts, including two counts of violations committed against her at the time, after a trial at the Central Criminal Court earlier this year -Partner and 52 cases of sexual assault.
He was also convicted of four counts of sexually assaulting his son and raping the boy, who was between nine and eleven at the time.
The man was also found guilty of double cruelty to his former partner’s children.
The crime happened between October 2013 and December 2015.
