Disgraced ex-OCI boss Pat Hickey has been granted bail, and will remain under house arrest while investigations into his alleged involvement in the ticket touting scandal are ongoing.
According to the Brazilian judge who released Hickey, his freedom ‘would not bring any obstacle or risk to public order’, or undermine the criminal investigation against him.”
Pat Hickey will remain in Brazil and will appear in court at a later date.
