There was some good news for fans of the hit series Derry Girls as Lisa McGee has revealed that initial talks have begun in regards to potential movie.
Speaking to Red Carpet News, McGee revealed that a big screen adaption of the Channel 4 series is something that is being considered.
Although nothing has been officially confirmed, McGee did reveal that it is something she would like to explore and if the story was right she would be more than happy to do the project.
Meanwhile the series creator gave hints about what is to come in upcoming third season.
McGee told Red Carpet News that the third season will see the girls grow up a little bit more and a number of personal and political journeys will be explored.
Season 3 of Derry Girls is expected to air later in 2020.
