
It may not be overly sunny out there in Ireland’s west, but temperatures are set to hit 25C in the east of the country later today. For the rest, a cooler 18C is expected.
A band of cloud moving in from the Atlantic will keep the sun from breaking through in the west.
So while the term “heatwave” might be a slight overstatement, the weather this week is expected to be warm, humid, and largely dry.
