The Taoiseach Leo Varadkar’s spokesman has defended Varakar’s topless sunbathing and partying in the Phoenix Park on Sunday with his boyfriend and friends.
Leo Varadkar adhered to the Covid-19 guidelines during his partying at Phoenix Park in Dublin this weekend, his spokesman said.
In a statement, the spokesman said that the Taoiseach was within the 5 km limit since he currently lives on the Farmleigh estate in the park.
According to RTE, the press release states that Varadkar has stayed at Steward’s Lodge in the past few weeks because he has a secure office and video conference facilities that allows him to work from home.
There had been much uproar on social media since the footage emerged.
