A Canadian tourist has sadly died after plunged over 330ft when the zipwire he was harnessed on snapped in Thailand.
According to BBC News, the 25-year-old man tragically plunged to his death in Chiang Maí, on Saturday morning.
Authorities say the man was visiting the Flight of the Gibbon zipwire attraction, in Mae Kampong village, with his girlfriend when the line the horrific accident occurred.
Although an investigation is currently ongoing, police say the attraction has since been closed in order to facilitate their investigation.
Meanwhile the Canadian Department of Global Affairs have said that they have been informed of the man’s death and they are currently assisting the man’s family.
