Gardai have confirmed that sadly a teenager has been killed in a car crash in Kerry this afternoon – shortly before Kerry went on to win the All-Ireland football final.
The incident, which involved one car, happened in the village of Duagh, just outside Listowel, Co. Kerry, at around 2.50pm this afternoon.
The 19-yr-old was the driver of the car with two other teenagers as passengers. It’s understood that the two passengers have small injuries.
Gardai are asking for anyone with dashcam footage to contact them or the Confidential Line on 1800-66-61-11.
