Gardai have sadly confirmed that a 10 year old boy who was injured in a road traffic incident in Co Carlow, on Thursday has sadly passed away.
According to RTE News, the young boy who was being treated at Temple Street Children’s Hospital passed away on Friday.
It is understood the boy was critically injured after he was hit by a 4×4 vehicle in the Ballymartin area of Borris.
Gardai say an investigation into the incident is currently ongoing.
