Muslim terrorism continues to plague Africa with recent attacks in Nigeria this past weekend leaving at least 110 people dead.
Boko Haram, an Islamic terrorist organization, with links to the Islamic State massacred farm labourers in the northern Nigerian state of Sokoto.
The AFP reported that “The assailants tied up the agricultural workers and slit their throats in the village of Koshobe, “The victims were laborers from Sokoto state in northwest Nigeria, roughly 1,000 kilometres (600 miles) away, who had travelled to the northeast to find work.”
Boko Harem, which in the Hausa dialect, means “Western education is forbidden” but also refers to itself as Jama’atu Ahlis Sunna Lidda’awati Wal-Jihad, meaning “People Committed to the Propagation of the Prophet’s Teachings and Jihad” is considered one of the deadliest terror organisations active in the world today.
