Met Eireann has issued an urgent Status Yellow weather warning for one county.
The snow-ice warning affects Co. Donegal, and will be in place from midnight on Thursday until midnight on Friday.
The national forecaster is predicting heavy, wintry showers of hail, sleet, and snow.
