In what can only be described as truly tragic, the entire county of Co Kilkenny is reeling today following the death of a teenager who was involved in a hurling accident.
A young teenager has passed away after being struck by a sliotar in an Irish county.
The incident happened at a school in Co. Kilkenny on Monday.
The victim, a 13-year-old male, was rushed to St. Luke’s Hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
Gardai are treating the death as a ‘tragic accident.’
