Tragic news this morning, as a 17-year-old teenager sadly passed away while attending a Kodaline gig at Marlay Park on July 8.
It is understood that the girl, who had a pre-existing medical condition, became ill while at the gig. She received first aid on site and was then rushed to Tallaght hospital in Dublin, where she was pronounced dead.
Concert promoters MCD Promotions extended their condolences to the family and friends of the girl.
