It has been confirmed that at least 22 children and 4 women have been killed following a Saudi-led coalition air strike in Yemen.
The tragic deaths come after a school an air strike was carried out in the Durayhimi district, south of the rebel-held city of Hodeida.
Following the strike which has been the second within as many weeks, the UN undersecretary-general for humanitarian affairs Mark Lowcock, called for an independent investigation.
The calls for an independent investigation was made after a group of young children were killed on August 9th, when air missile hit their bus whilst they were trying to flee the war torn district.
The latest causlities come as Saudi-led forces have stepped up their efforts to remove the Houthis forces from the Yemeni capital of Sanaa.
Almost 10,000 innocent civilians have lost their lives since the war began back in 2015.
