35-yr-old Siobhan Geraghty took a taxi to her home at the Lohunda Dale estate in Clonsilla, Dublin from Harcourt Street at around 3.40am on Sunday. But Siobhan was hit by a car that failed to stop at the scene.
Neighbours reported hearing ‘a thud’ and then a car speeding away. They discovered Siobhan lying unconscious on the road outside her house.
The primary school teacher was rushed to Connolly Hospital and later transferred to Beaumont Hospital, where she is now fighting for her life.
