A motorcyclist has been killed after crashing into a tractor last night. The man in his 50s was tragically killed when his motorbike crashed into a tractor in Roscommon around 8pm last night.
The crash happened on the N5 between Scramoge Cross and Strokestown, close to the town’s golf club.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, and his body was taken to Roscommon Hospital.
The driver of the tractor is said to be uninjured.
