Police in Australia have confirmed that a 13 year old boy has died after being crushed inside a bin lorry in Port Lincoln.
According to BBC News, police say the boy was asleep inside the bin when he was accidentally tipped in to a bin lorry and subsequently crushed.
It is understood that two other boys aged 12 and 13 were inside the bin at the time of the incident.
Police say one of the boys managed to escape the bin whilst the other sustained minor injuries.
Officers investigating the case say the bin lorry driver was unaware that the boys were inside the bin at the time of the incident.
They added that an investigation is underway and they are trying to determine how the boy ended up asleep inside the bin.
