A 6-year-old boy has tragically died after his friends allegedly put compressed air up his backside as part of a prank.
According to NDTV, the young boy was killed after he suffered major internal injuries following the incident which occurred in Madhya Pradesh, Indore, in India, on Sunday.
It is believed that the three boys were playing at the victim’s father’s factory when the alleged incident occurred.
Speaking to NDTV, the boy’s father told reporters that his son sadly passed away at Maharaja Yeshwantrao Hospital, after the two boys brought him home with a severely swollen abdomen.
Despite best efforts of medical personnel the young boy sadly passed away due to the extent of his injuries a short time after the alleged incident occurred.
Police investigating the incident say they have been made aware of the incident and have revealed that they have been told that the boy did have his abdomen filled with air when the two boys inserted the compressor’s nozzle up his rectum whilst playing.
Officers investigating the case added that they are currently awaiting the results of a post-mortem examination in order to determine the exact cause of the boy’s death.
