There was some sad news announced this evening as the Department of Foreign Affairs confirmed that an Irish man has collapsed and died in Cambodia.
According to local media the man died in a Ethiopian restaurant in the capital city of Phnom Penh.
It is believed a number of staff and customers tried to resuscitate him before paramedics attended the scene.
A spokesperson for the Department of Foreign Affairs have confirmed they are are currently providing consular assistance to the man’s family.
