A five year old girl has sadly died after she was struck by a runaway vehicle in Canada.
The young child named Camila De Almeida Torcato who was a cancer survivor, was tragically killed when she and her father became pinned against another vehicle after their SUV manged to roll backwards whilst they were walking behind it.
Police say the young girl who had just started kindergarten last September sadly died as a result of her injuries in hospital a short time later.
They also say Camila’s father was injured in the tragic incident which occurred outside the preschool she was attending.
Authorities say they have launched an investigation into the incident and they trying to determine how the unoccupied Hyundai SUV rolled away.
According to local media in Toronto Camila was in remission following a battle with cancer.
They also her parents are devastated by the tragic incident.
