There was some sad news announced late last night as Gardaí confirmed that a 44-year-old man has been killed in road traffic accident in Co Tipperary.
It is understood the man was killed in the single-vehicle collision after he collided with a concrete pillar on the M8 motorway near Ballyknock, Cashel.
Gardaí say the man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. They also say an investigation into what caused the accident is currently ongoing.
