Gardai in Dublin say that they might be weeks searching a on three acres of woodland which has been sealed off in Chapelizod in south Dublin.
22-yr-old Trevor Deely was last seen walking home after a Christmas party in the city centre on December 8th, 2000.
New evidence was released to the public last April when the then cold-case was re-opened in an effort to finally solve the mystery as to what actually happened to Trevor Deely.
CCTV images show Trevor talking to a man near Leeson St and who seemingly follows him some time later towards Baggot St.
Gardai say they may be searching the site for a number of weeks.
