Police in the US have begun an investigation after a 10-year-old girl was killed after she was thrown from a fairground ride.
According to reports in the US, the young girl sadly passed away after she was ejected from the Wisdom Super Sizzler ‘Xtreme’ ride in Rosenhayn, New Jersey, on Saturday evening.
Although it is not known what cause the ride to malfunction, police say they are currently trying to determine what caused the girl to be thrown from the moving ride.
The shocking incident occurred as the local community celebrated the Deerfield Township Harvest Festival.
Officers investigating the incident say they were alerted to the incident at approximatley 7:25pm on Saturday evening where they found the young girl seriously injured.
However despite being transferred to a nearby hospital she sadly passed away a short time later.
