In a tragedy that will shock many, a homeless man has died on the streets in the UK.
According to the Metro, the man died in London in a bus spot which had been his home for several months. Ngozi Fulani of the helpline Sistah Space, reportedly told the Mail that she had been checking up on the man, particularly during the recent heatwave.
After reportedly trying to get the local council to help, it is said that she thought the man had been “allowed to die like trash on the road”. Another woman living in the area said that he had been there on and off for several years.
A spokesperson for the Council has reportedly said that attempts were made to provide the man with help but the outreach team were unable to convince him to take up the offer and they are deeply distressed with his death.
It is said that a full investigation will take place into the man’s tragic death.
