Department of Housing confirm homeless figures have dropped for a second month in a row




The Department of Housing has revealed that homeless figures has dropped for the second month in a row.

According to latest figures there are currently 10,173 people homeless across the country.

Although figures are still above 10,000, the Department have revealed that there was a drop of 81 from the month of May to June, whilst there was an overall drop of 206 since April.

However despite figures showing that  74 children and 7 adults have been rehomeed, homeless campaigners have said more needs to be done in order to tackle the overall issue.
